Privacy Notice

27 September 2026 · Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA)

Who we are

VOIMAR (Pty) Ltd ("Voimar") operates Voimar Konnector, Voimar SMS, Voimar APN, GYTE, Kesho, Heita and related services. Registered address: C11 Carlswald Close, Cnr New Road and 7th Road, Carlswald, Midrand, 1685, South Africa. Information Officer: Zuko Leonard Rabotapi, infoofficer@voimar.co.za. Privacy requests: privacy@voimar.co.za. Legal notices: legal@voimar.co.za.

What we collect

Account details you give us: name, email, mobile number, and - where the law requires it for telecommunications (RICA) - your ID or passport number and date of birth.

Billing records: what you bought and when. Card payments are processed by Paystack; Voimar never sees or stores full card numbers.

Service records: call records for billing, connection records, and security logs (such as sign-ins and IP addresses) that keep accounts safe.

We do not keep the content of end-to-end encrypted messages or calls. Konnector messages are encrypted on the phone and only carried by Voimar in memory.

How we use it

To provide and bill our services, verify identity where the law requires it, keep accounts and networks secure, meet legal obligations, and send the service messages you need (such as verification codes, receipts and reminders).

We contact you over data first - in the app and on WhatsApp - and use SMS only as a backup. We never sell personal information and never use it to train AI.

WhatsApp messages

Voimar sends service messages from its official WhatsApp Business number, +27 67 806 1918, using the WhatsApp Business Platform. We send only the messages needed for your account and never share your number with anyone else for marketing. You can ask us to stop non-essential WhatsApp messages at any time.

Where it is kept

On Voimar's own infrastructure in South Africa (Teraco, Johannesburg). Payment processing (Paystack) and messaging delivery (Meta, for WhatsApp) happen through those providers under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the service and as the law requires (for example, tax and RICA records). Disappearing messages are erased from phones on their timer; Voimar holds none of them.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to its use, or withdraw consent, subject to what the law requires us to keep. Write to privacy@voimar.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

To delete your data, follow our data deletion instructions.

Children

Children use Voimar services only through a parent or legal guardian, who consents on their behalf and can ask to see, correct or delete the child's information at privacy@voimar.co.za.
